WebAs for retaking, how it works is that if you get a bad grade, you can take it at a CC to replace the chem1a requirement. The difference is that the fail grade chem at sjsu will still be there and affect your gpa. If u retake it at sjsu and get a better grade, the old one gets replaced with the better grade and only the better grade's gpa weight in.
