WebApr 12, 2024 · The R1200RT WC has more lash in the gear train (rear wheel can be turned back and forth 2" at the tire when on the center stand and in first gear), but it has very little of the lurch that happens with on/off throttle on the K1600. The speculation is that the lurch is somehow a result of the slipper clutch on the K1600. WebMay 10, 2012 · I dont ride at low speeds so I can live with it,however I am not going to defend BMW and say it is acceptable. My C14 has a very quiet driveline, no lash at all on a bike that costs 1/2 what the GT cost.Why can Kawasaki get it perfect and BMW cant. The C14 also has a slipper clutch. WebDec 29, 2024 · Loosen the lock-nut on the adjuster. Turn the adjuster out to remove any gap between the lever and its perch. Pull the clutch lever in. Put a thick washer or coin in the gap and release the lever, holding the washer/coin in place. Screw the adjuster in until the washer/coin just falls out. Tighten the lock-nut.
