Web27 okt. 2015 · 5 months ago I replaced 14 thru hulls and all their fittings. 2 of the thru hulls, not the fittings, were corroded. Consequently I would go with the advice to remove them and glass them over. The last thing you need is a hole in the bottom of the boat and thru hulls are holes capped by corrodable metal in a toxic environment.
